TERMS & CONDITIONS
The Terms and Conditions detailed below apply to all entrants participating in all Big Bounce Challenge events. Completion of an entry form or purchase of an entry by every participant acknowledges acceptance of these Terms and Conditions by the participant. We reserve the right to change these Terms and Conditions at any time, effective immediately upon posting on our website.

By entering the event the participant automatically accepts our terms and conditions and accepts a ticket purchase is electronic signature of waiver outlined in terms and conditions.
(A) Big Bounce Challenge Purchase & Ticketing Policy:
PARTICIPANTS: READ THIS DOCUMENT CAREFULLY BEFORE SIGNING/ Ticking the T&C’s agreement box . The following are terms and conditions on your entry into any Big Bounce Challenge event, failure to agree to the terms as outlined and in full, disqualifies you and your group from participation/ attendance. Please read through carefully before agreeing to them.
1. Declarations
1) I or any participant on my booking or person under my guardianship understand that participating in any Big Bounce Challenge events is a physically challenging and potentially dangerous activity and involves the risk of serious injury and/or death.
2) I /we assert that I /we am/are in good health and in proper physical condition to safely participate in the Big Bounce Challenge event. I /we certify that I / we have no known or knowable physical or mental conditions that would affect my ability to safely participate in the Big Bounce Challenge event, or that would result in my /our participation creating a risk of danger to myself or to others.
MCG Entertainment Limited, trading as Follow Fox Events and hereafter noted as Big Bounce Challenge.
2. Entry and Participation Agreements
Booking : By fulfilling a booking I accept responsibility to adhere to the Terms and Conditions to all participants/ spectators within the booking and under my guardianship or invited by me to the Big Bounce Challenge Event site. By accepting the Terms and Conditions I accept full responsibility for the entire booking / group on their behalf and agree that I have made all relevant parties of all ages aware of all Terms & Conditions and confirm that they have agreed to the Terms & Conditions once I confirm my agreement. N.B A selection of obstacles are used at each location. Obstacles shown are for promotion only and may not appear at every event.
Rules: I /we agree to become familiar with and abide by all written and/or published rules of Big Bounce Challenge, as well as all written and/or published rules of the venue. I / we further agree to comply with all directions, instructions and decisions of Big Bounce Challenge and event personnel. I /we further agree not to challenge these rules, directions, instructions, or decisions on any basis at any time.
3. Personal Health & Insurance
I /we also understand that it is my responsibility to consult with my personal physician prior to participating in a Big Bounce Challenge event to ensure that such participation will not pose any unusual risks to my / our health and well-being.
I /we understand that Big Bounce Challenge advise me to organise my/our own personal insurance to cover such outcomes as, but not limited to, missing work due to an injury incurred during an event.
I / we understand that it is my/our responsibility to continuously monitor my/our own physical and mental condition during the Course, and I /we agree to withdraw immediately and to notify appropriate personnel if at any point my /our continued participation would create a risk of danger to myself or to others. I /we acknowledge and agree that I /we will not be reimbursed any portion of any fees paid for participation in Big Bounce Challenge if I / we withdraw before completing the Course, as I /we understand that all fees are paid only in exchange for the opportunity to participate to the best of my /our ability as described in this document, and in no way reflect an entitlement to complete the Course.
I / we consent to receive medical care and treatment as determined by appropriate personnel. In the event of my /our injury, accident, or illness, I/we consent to receive medical care and treatment as deemed advisable in the best judgement of appropriate Big Bounce Challenge and/or appropriate medical professionals. If necessary, I/we authorise appropriate Big Bounce Challenge personnel to consent to such medical care and treatment on my behalf.
I /we agree to assume liability for any and all medical costs incurred as a result of my participation in Big Bounce Challenge but not limited to costs of: medical care and treatment, ambulance services, hospital stays, and physician and pharmaceutical goods and services. I /we agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Released Parties (as defined below) from all liability for such costs.
I /we understand that I am strongly advised to consult a medical practitioner before participating, especially if I am disabled, or have recently suffered any illness, injury, or impairment. I /we understand participation is prohibited if pregnant.
I /we understand any marked route is shown for guidance only and Big Bounce Challenge do not insist that you use the route shown. Therefore, if a participant chooses to tackle a section, it is entirely his or her own choice. If they choose a different route to avoid obstacles or sections they decide are beyond their capabilities, they do so entirely at their own risk.
I /we understand each participant will be fully responsible for any fees or costs incurred or arising from an accident either involving or caused by them. This includes, but is not exclusive to, fees from Police, Air Ambulance, Fire and Rescue and Ambulance service, If the situation arises that you are not capable of making the decision to call the emergency services, the Participant agrees that a member of Big Bounce Challenge or a member of the public may call for them. In this situation, the runner still accepts the costs and consequences of such actions.
4. Waiver
Big Bounce Challenge
ASSUMPTION OF RISK, WAIVER OF LIABILITY, AND INDEMNITY AGREEMENT
PARTICIPANTS: READ THIS DOCUMENT CAREFULLY BEFORE SIGNING. THIS DOCUMENT HAS LEGAL CONSEQUENCES AND WILL AFFECT YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS AND WILL ELIMINATE YOUR ABILITY TO BRING FUTURE LEGAL ACTIONS.
I/ we hereby waive, release and forever discharge Big Bounce Challenge and the other Released Parties from any and all claims I /we may have arising out of my participation in Big Bounce Challenge. I / we covenant and agree not to sue Big Bounce Challenge or any of the other Released Parties for any such claims.
Parties
Released Parties include: Big Bounce Challenge and its affiliates and their respective directors, officers, employees, agents, contractors, insurers, spectators, equipment suppliers, and volunteers; all Big Bounce Challenge event sponsors, organisers, promoters, directors, officials, property owners, and advertisers; governmental bodies and/or municipal agencies whose property and/or personnel are used; and any or all parent, subsidiary or affiliate companies, licencees, officers, directors, partners, board members, supervisors, insurers, agents, equipment suppliers, and representatives of any of the foregoing (all referred to hereinafter as " Big Bounce Challenge" or "Released Parties").
Releasing Parties include: the participant as well as participant's spouse, children, parents, guardians, heirs, next of kin, and any legal or personal representatives, executors, administrators, successors and assigns, or anyone else who might claim or sue on participant's behalf (all referred to hereinafter as "I" or “I/we” or ‘”y/our”or "Releasing Parties"). Releasing Parties also includes ANY person whom the booking party purchases tickets for or is under third or other persons in the groups guardianship.
I / we have read the FAQ section of the Big Bounce Challenge website to determine the details of the event and acknowledge that should I wish to transfer a ticket to another party I must have written consent from Big Bounce Challenge to do so.
Assumption of Inherent risks
With full knowledge and understanding of the risks associated with my participation in any Big Bounce Challenge event, I /we enter voluntarily and fully accept and assume every such risk for loss, damage, or injury (including death).
I / we declare that I and any participant on my booking or person under my guardianship are physically fit. I /we acknowledge that adventure racing can be hazardous and carries inherent risks of physical injury. Inherent risks are risks that cannot be eliminated completely (without changing the challenging nature of the Big Bounce Challenge event) regardless of the care and precautions taken by Big Bounce Challenge . I /we waive and renounce any rights and claims for damages I or any participant on my booking or person under my booking and / or guardianship may have against the organiser or his agents for loss/injury as a result of participation in any Big Bounce Challenge event or training day.
I / we understand and acknowledge that the inherent risks include, but are not limited to: 1) contact or collision with persons or objects (e.g., collision with spectators or course personnel), contact with other participants, contact or collision with motor vehicles or machinery (I understand that there are no road closures in place for Big Bounce Challenge events and that the rules of the road should be obeyed at all times) , and contact with natural or man-made fixed objects or obstacles); 2) encounter with obstacles (e.g., natural and man-made water, road and surface hazards); 3) equipment related hazards (e.g., broken, defective or inadequate competition equipment, unexpected equipment failure, imperfect course conditions); 4) weather-related hazards (e.g., extreme winds, heat, extreme cold, ice, rain, fog); 5) inadequate first aid and/or emergency measures; and 6) judgement and/or behaviour-related problems (e.g., erratic or inappropriate co-participant behaviour, erratic or inappropriate behaviour by the participant, errors in judgement by personnel working the event.
I /we further understand and acknowledge that any of these risks and others, not specifically named, may cause injury or injuries that may be categorised as minor, serious, or catastrophic. Minor injuries are common and include, but are not limited to: scrapes, bruises, sprains, nausea, and cuts. Serious injuries are less common, but do sometimes occur. They include, but are not limited to: property loss or damage, broken bones, torn ligaments, concussions, exposure, mental stress or exhaustion, infection, and concussions. Catastrophic injuries are rare; however, participants acknowledge being aware of the possibility. These injuries can include permanent disabilities, spinal injuries and paralysis, stroke, heart attack, and even death.
I / we also understand that it is my/our responsibility to consult with my or any participant on my booking or persons under my guardianships personal physician prior to participating in the Big Bounce Challenge event to ensure that such participation will not pose any unusual risks to my or any participant on my booking or person under my guardianship’s health and well-being.
I /we understand that it is my responsibility to inspect the course, facilities, equipment, and areas to be used, and if I /we believe or become aware that any are unsafe or pose unreasonable risks, I /we agree to immediately notify appropriate personnel. By participating in the event, I /we am /are acknowledging that I /we have found the course, facilities, equipment, and areas to be used to be safe and acceptable for participation. I / we accept full and sole responsibility for the condition and adequacy of my/our equipment.
I /we understand fully the inherent risks involved in the Big Bounce Challenge event and assert that I / we are willingly and voluntarily participating in the event. I /we have read the preceding paragraphs and acknowledge that 1) I /we know the nature of the Big Bounce Challenge event; 2) I /we understand the demands of this activity relative to my physical condition; and 3) I /we appreciate the potential impact of the types of injuries that may result from the Big Bounce Challenge event 4) I/we understand that there are no road closures in place for Big Bounce Challenge events and that the rules of the road should be obeyed at all times. I hereby assert that I knowingly assume all of the inherent risks of the activity and take full responsibility for any and all damages, liabilities, losses, or expenses that I incur as a result of participating in the Big Bounce Challenge event.
Self-declaration release of liability
In consideration for being permitted to participate in the Big Bounce Event, I/we (on behalf of the Releasing Parties) hereby waive, release, covenant not to sue, and discharge MCG Entertainment ltd t/a Follow Fox Events and the other Released Parties from any and all claims resulting from the INHERENT RISKS of the Big Bounce Challenge event that I may have arising out of my participation in the Big Bounce Challenge event.
Further, I covenant not to sue MCG Entertainment ltd t/a Follow Fox Events, its officers, directors, employees, consultants, agents and sponsors for any and all damages, injuries (including death), and/or claims which may be sustained by you directly or indirectly arising out of my participation in a Big Bounce Challenge event. This release and discharge includes, but is not limited to, claims for personal injury, death, property damage, economic loss, breach of contract, lost wages, contribution indemnity, other indemnities, punitive damages, or any other legally recognisable claim arising out of my participation in any Big Bounce Challenge event (including all legal costs associated with such claims).
This agreement applies to 1) personal injury (including death) from incidents or illnesses arising from the Big Bounce Challenge event participation. This includes injury during course inspection, observation, practice runs, the event, and while on the premises (including, but not limited to stands, pavements, parking areas, toilet facilities and dressing facilities); and 2) any and all claims resulting from damage to, loss of, or theft of property.
I /we hereby agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless Big Bounce Challenge and the other Released Parties from any and all expenses incurred and all claims made by myself or others (including but not limited to court costs, attorneys’ fees and litigation expenses) that arise out of or result directly or indirectly from my/our breach or failure to abide by any part of this Agreement, my / our failure to follow any rules or directions as defined above, and/or any of my actions or inactions which cause injury or damage to any other person or property.
I /we understand that this agreement to indemnify, defend and hold harmless operates for myself as well as on behalf of my spouse, children, parents, guardians, heirs, next of kin and any legal or personal representatives, executors, administrators, successors and assigns, or anyone else who might claim or sue on my behalf.
I / we understand and acknowledge that by selecting the box below, I agree that the statutes and laws of the Republic of Ireland (Eire) will apply to all matters relating to this Agreement, including participation in Big Bounce Challenge , regardless of the actual location of Big Bounce Challenge or the principles of conflict of laws. I /we agree that exclusive jurisdiction for any dispute with Big Bounce Challenge resides in the courts of the Republic of Ireland (Eire) and expressly consent to the exercise of personal jurisdiction in the Republic of Ireland (Eire) in connection with any dispute.
I / we understand and agree that this Agreement is intended to be as broad and inclusive as is permitted by the Republic Of Ireland (Eire), and that if any provision shall be found to be unlawful, void, or for any reason unenforceable, then that provision shall be severed from this Agreement and does not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining provisions.
5. Compliance with Terms and Conditions of Entry
By ticking the box of the declaration on the registration form, I /we accept, acknowledge and realise that participation in any Big Bounce Challenge event is potentially dangerous and that there are numerous risks associated with my participation. I /we fully understand and realise that my /our participation in any Big Bounce Challenge event may result in serious bodily injury and/or death to myself or others. I/we further realise and understand that the routes for some Big Bounce Challenge events will require walking/running on public roadways upon which the hazards of travelling are to be expected. Further, I /we understand that participation in any Big BOunce Challenge event will require strenuous physical exertion as participants will be required to be active for long periods of time, including the risk of being active through inclement weather and/ or very hot weather.
With full knowledge and understanding of the risks associated with my/our participation, I hereby enter voluntarily and fully accept and assume every such risk for loss, damage and/ or injury (including death).
I /we understand that failure to comply with the terms and conditions listed above could result in my disqualification from the race.
I /we agree to comply with all of the Event's terms and conditions of entry. I /we acknowledge and understand that the organisers will use reasonable efforts to ensure that all other participants abide by the terms and conditions of entry, but cannot guarantee that all participants will abide by these terms and conditions.
IMPORTANT: My / our ticking electronically of the provided box on the booking form indicates that I have read, understood and accepted all terms and conditions, agree to abide by the rules and regulations and accept the waiver and indemnity contained within this document.
By ticking the box provided, I /we affirm that as a Participant I have read, understand its content and I /we intentionally and voluntarily sign this agreement. As the Parent or Guardian of the participant, if under the age of 18, I have read, understood its content and I /we intentionally and voluntarily signed this agreement.
(B) Ticket amendments:
If you cannot make your booked session and would like to change your booking to another date and/or time, please get in contact with us at tickets@bigbouncechallenge and provide your booking reference and the date/time you would like to move to. We will do our best to accommodate you once availability allows.
If another suitable date or time is not available, we would advise you to transfer your tickets to friends or family, and make a new booking for yourself at a more suitable date & time. Tickets are non-refundable.
(C) General:

We will make every effort to provide to you the event as advertised, but Big Bounce Challenge reserves the right to make any alterations to this, including changes in dates, time, modifications in programme or provision of alternative facilities where deemed necessary.

The management reserves the right of entry.

No animals, other than guide or service dogs, are permitted on site.
-
Recycling bins MUST be used for products suitable for recycling, and general waste bins only for soiled and non recyclable waste. Anyone found not adhering to this policy will be fined and may be evicted. Please use the bins and recycling points provided on and off site. We are limiting plastics wherever possible, please do the same.

Any photograph, image, film or recording taken of any participant or any member of any team may not be reproduced for any commercial purpose, whatsoever, whether for money or otherwise.

All ticket holders acknowledge that filming/photography is taking place at this event for promotional and archival purposes. The photographs/ video recordings/ stills from video recordings made are likely to appear on our website and advertising channels. If you would prefer not to be photographed please let the photographer/videographer know.
SECURITY

The Promoter reserves the right to evict a customer and/or refuse admission, without a refund. Please see the Eviction Policy below.

Any item(s), reasonably considered for use as a weapon, which may cause danger, offence or disruption to any other person, will be confiscated.

Any person carrying illegal items or carrying out illegal activity will be given to the An Garda Síochána and refused entry.
-
Anti-social behaviour may lead to eviction. Please act responsibly.
BANNED ITEMS

Unauthorised professional photography or use of professional recording equipment is prohibited and zoom lenses, audio visual or cinematographic devices will not be permitted on site.
EVICTION POLICY
Big Bounce Challenge is produced for the enjoyment of all those persons who attend. The licence is granted under strict conditions of attendance and public safety, prevention of disorder and prevention of public nuisance. Any person who disrupts the event under any of the below sections will leave themselves liable for eviction from site. If you are evicted, we may take a photograph of you as part of the eviction process (with your consent). The decision as to the eviction will be at the discretion of the Eviction Manager/Garda Siochana following advice from event security staff and line managed by the Security Coordinator.
Persons will be liable for eviction under the following circumstances:

Entering or being onsite without a ticket

Unacceptable, disruptive or anti-social behaviour**
-
Having been arrested or cautioned in connection with a criminal offence, pending or post hand-over to An Garda Siochana
**Unacceptable behaviour that can lead to eviction includes: (but is not limited to)

Illegal activity;
-
Breaching the terms and conditions of entry;
-
Offensive behaviour;
-
Throwing hard objects in the direction of people;
-
Encouraging others to behave badly by incitement;
-
Preventing our security or emergency services reacting to a situation;
-
Committing a criminal offence but not arrested by An Garda Siochana;
-
In possession of unlawful drugs, including legal highs;
-
Unofficially selling alcohol, tobacco, counterfeit or any unauthorised goods;
-
Any other behaviour that leaves the promoter open to prosecution or is not conducive to maintaining a safe event.
(D) Big Bounce Challenge Cancellation Policy:
The organisers of the event will do everything in their power to ensure the smooth running of the event. In the unlikely event of something going wrong, we will facilitate, in the best possible manner, to deliver the experience as close as possible to the organised time up to & including rescheduling or cancelling visits. Cancellation fees may be offered at the discretion of the management but no compensation will be available for any mishap, breakdown of service or cancellation as deemed necessary/unavoidable by the organisers. If some part of the experience is affected, the organisers will accommodate a replacement where possible, but reserve the right to remove promoted elements if & when deemed necessary. In the event of cancellation due to weather conditions, we will do our best to move the date where & when possible to the most suitable, available date.
Please note we can only refund you the ticket price, booking fees are paid to a 3rd party for the payment processing service and are non-refundable.
SEVERE WEATHER CONDITIONS AT THE VENUE:
The event will only be cancelled if the weather in the location is perceived to be a danger to the public (e.g extremely high winds), or if there is a major failure in the electricity.
The event will be cancelled when:

The weather at the venue is perceived to be a danger to the public
due to very high winds -
There is a major fault in the electric system.
The event will NOT be cancelled when:

There is heavy rain, snow or very cold weather at the venue, please
wrap up and wear warm, appropriate clothing -
There is heavy rain or snow in another part of the country – we advise
visitors to take note of weather conditions for their journey and allow
ample time to get here
A decision will be made as early as possible and guests will be contacted by email and a message will go out on all our social media platforms advising any cancellations due to weather. We ask our guests to please check your email / spam / junk and our social channels just before the event to make sure you have the most up to date information.
If the event must be cancelled we will offer you a new date to come along where & when possible, in this case we will contact you directly as soon as possible but please be patient and understand that many visitors may be affected and we may need some time to do so. If this is not feasible, refunds may be offered at the discretion of the management.
MAJOR TECHNICAL FAULTS:
The organisers of the event will do everything in their power to ensure the smooth running of the event. In the unlikely event of something going wrong out of our control, we will facilitate, in the best possible manner, to deliver the event as close as possible to the organised time up to & including rescheduling or cancelling visits.
Cancellation fees may be offered at the discretion of the management but no compensation will be available for any mishap, breakdown of service or cancellation as deemed necessary/unavoidable by the organisers.
If some part of the experience is affected, the organisers will accommodate a replacement where possible, but reserve the right to remove promoted elements if & when deemed necessary.
In the unlikely event of a major technical fault, our team will endeavour to contact you as soon as possible to reschedule your visit.
(E) Fire & Safety

Fires are not permitted anywhere onsite. Anyone involved with starting a fire or throwing anything onto a fire will be evicted from site.

Smoking including electronic cigarettes is not permitted in enclosed public spaces or buildings including any marques / big tops.

The use of drones or similar equipment for any reason is strictly forbidden onsite without written permission from the promoter.

The event is outdoors. You are strongly advised to bring appropriate clothing and footwear to protect against inclement weather.
(F) The Legals

Thankfully the majority of our customer experiences are very positive. However, we welcome all types of feedback – we strive to be the best we can be, but we may make mistakes, we are human too. We are here to listen to you to better ourselves and try to create the best possible experience. We would expect and appreciate you giving us the opportunity to do so.

COMPETITION RULES
From time to time we offer promotions on our website or social media channels. These promotions are subject to our standard terms and conditions, however, we reserve the right to change the applicable terms and conditions on a promotion by promotion basis.
STANDARD TERMS & CONDITIONS
We acknowledge that our social media promotions, contests and giveaways are in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Facebook or Instagram.

By participating in any competition or giveaway advertised by Big Bounce Challenge on its Facebook page and/or other Social Media channels (the “Competition”), you confirm that you accept and agree to these competition terms.

The Promoter of the Competition is Big Bounce Challenge. The Competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Facebook and/or other Social Media channels. You completely release Facebook/Instagram and/or other Social Media channels from any and all liability associated with this Competition.

All Competitions are open to Irish residents only, unless specified, and are not open to employees of Big Bounce Challenge, its agents, contractors, consultants, or their families (including de facto spouses) or to other persons assisting with the Competition.

Entrants must follow the instructions on the Competition Facebook/Instagram post and/or other Social Media channel to enter this competition.

The Competition entry closing and opening dates will be specified on the Competition Facebook/Instagram post and/or other Social Media channel.

Big Bounce Challenge is not responsible or liable for any late, lost or misdirected entries or for any problems or technical malfunction which may result in delay or failure to enter you into the draw.

The winner(s) will be drawn as specified by the Facebook/Instagram Competition post and/or other Social Media channel. The prize winner(s) will receive the prize that is advertised on either the Facebook/Instagram Competition post, the Facebook/Instagram Competition photo and/or other Social Media channel. Big Bounce Challenge accepts no responsibility or liability for any prize winner’s enjoyment of any prize or any other costs and expenses that may be incurred by the prize winner relating to the prize or the winner’s enjoyment of that prize (including any travel related costs where relevant and unless otherwise specified in the Facebook Competition post and/or other Social Media channel).

Big Bounce Challenge will endeavour to notify each of the prize winners through their social media account, by email, text or phone. However, if the winner cannot be reached within three working days, we may redraw a new prize winner without liability to any person. Big Bounce Challenge reserves the right to contact the selected winners by other means.

Prizes cannot be transferred or exchanged or redeemed for cash. Big Bounce Challenge takes no responsibility for entries or prizes that are lost or destroyed.

Accepting the prize constitutes a winner’s consent for Big Bounce Challenge to use his or her name on Facebook/Instagram for Competition transparency without compensation. This includes on the Big Bounce Challenge website, direct and social media channels.

The winner acknowledges that redemption of some prizes may require the winner to be at least 18 years of age or have parental/ guardian consent. We will let you know on our Facebook/Instagram Competition post and/or other Social Media channel.

The decisions of Big Bounce Challenge on all matters relating to this Competition are final and no correspondence will be entered into.
